RWE Projects & Actions

Religious Witness for the Earth has been engaged in a variety of actions since its founding in 2001.

We've been involved with these projects recently:

New England Climate Revival

The Rev. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas, RWE Co-Chair, was on the core planning team for the New England Climate Revival.  Hundreds gathered to worship together and to hear from denominational leaders and international climate activists.

Fossil Fuel Divestment

The Rev. Fred Small, RWE Co-Chair, is active in the movement to Divest from Fossil Fuels. On June 2, 2013, First Parish in Cambridge, Unitarian Universalist - the church where Fred is pastor - voted unanimously to divest within the next five years.
